As some of you may know, I released a single this past Friday – May 7, 2021 – in time for the final Bandcamp Friday entitled “Vocal Lines”, a seductive banger produced by my mentor and Big Brother from another mother, Substantial. This sexy summer track is the lead-off single from my upcoming EP, A Sapphic Summer, whose release date will be announced once it’s fully completed and ready to drop.

“Vocal Lines” is a song about the alluring power of a person’s voice and how it can be a motivator for lovemaking. What will the perfect voice move you to do?

You can listen to the complete track and also purchase the single in the Bandcamp Player above. The single will be available on all digital streaming platforms on May 17, 2021. [NEW MUSIC] Two New Singles Just In Time For Christmas: “Thankful” and “Hymnal for the Lamented”

Thankful (Audio)
Hymnal for the Lamented (Audio)

First off…MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL! I love you guys, seriously.

Secondly, thank you to all the wonderful folks that blessed my season by showing tremendous love and spreading the word about my latest release Christmas at 7222, Vol. 2. Because of you, other places around the world are getting to know me and my music, so I thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.

With all that being said, I have released not one, but TWO singles from my latest project – “Thankful” and “Hymnal for the Lamented”.

“Thankful” is a deeply personal song about my relationship with my late cousin, A. Michael Martin, who passed during the early days of COVID-19 in New York. The song begins with the last voice message he ever left on my phone, and the last time I ever heard his voice. From there, I talk about how I was upset with him for a time, only to reunite with him in celebration, not knowing that 3 weeks later he would be gone. I’m sure many of you have similar stories with loved that passed, from COVID-19 or otherwise, so this song is for you. Be thankful that you were able to see them smile one last time.

“Hymnal for the Lamented” is a song dedicated to all the beautiful people we lost this year. I thought about my childhood and how I used to go caroling with my school buddies in Maryland, and how that simple act brought comfort not only to the people that were listening, but to the performers, as well. That is the feeling I want you all to feel as you’re listening to this song – comfort knowing that your loved ones are at peace.

You can listen to these songs by clicking on the videos above. Add them to your playlists and spread the word. These songs are also available on SpotifyApple MusicAmazon, and YouTube.

Once again, Happy Holidays and One Love, from yours truly…

“It’s Steph, y’all!”

[NOW AVAILABLE] “Christmas at 7222, Vol. 2” is available exclusively on Bandcamp

Break out the fresh egg nog – the wait is over! Christmas at 7222, Vol. 2 is finally here, and for now, it is exclusively on Bandcamp.

This follow-up to 2019’s holiday EP, Christmas at 7222, Vol. 1, continues the goal of creating new holiday originals with a hint of nostalgia. However, Vol. 2 takes a slight detour, tackling some issues that affected us in 2020, and still affect many of us throughout this holiday season. Mental heath, relationship challenges, and the ever-looming presence of mortality and how precious it is, are the main themes addressed on this album. Through it all, hope still springs eternal, and that is the defining theme of this album, and every holiday season.

You can listen to Christmas at 7222, Vol. 2 above, through the embedded Bandcamp music player, and you can make your purchase through it, as well. Please also leave a great comment on the album’s Bandcamp page about the project and tell the world what your favorite song is. Thanks in advance, and Happy Holidays to all of you!
